Having the right kit will help the mindset venture outside. Is your kit and clothing able to take the demands of poor weather? Lay it out and make 2 piles. Helping and not helping. What is missing in the helping pile?
Buddy up. A simple phonecall to a training buddy might just be the kicker they needed. It takes someone to make the call!
A 20 minute window at home. There are a multitude of videos of HIIT, yoga, pilates, circuits on the internet. Crank the tunes up and you know it will be no surprise how effective 20 minutes can be.
Eating food for the body and mind and not the weather!. It's a classic case that we struggle with all the time. Prioritising essential need over feelings. The weather can play tricks with the mind. The 'hibernation' factor. Rewarding ourselves with quality meals and wearing an extra layer of clothing keeps the processed sugar loaded foods from appearing.
Ask for help. Always difficult. Friends, family, training buddies, coaches, mentors, work colleagues. If this weather sets you back and are struggling to move forward then ask for help.
