The graph shows the gains made by a 1-1 coaching client who made significant lifestyle changes that improved health, in turn allowing the physical training plan to make an impact in performance.
A strength and running plan written by Madmule, consistent visits to Madmule H.I.L.L., attending the gym classes and investing in some 1-1 coaching, the client is moving with vigour and filled with confidence.
The blue line is the session completed 19 January.
The red line is the session completed 10 march.
The heart rate recovered quicker and to lower levels between sets even with faster speeds being used in March - shown by lines 1b and 2b. By repeating this session either side of the time invested in training the client has evidence that the effort is worthwhile, it has contributed to achieving their longer term ambitions and encourages discipline to maintain positive health factors being engaged. Nutrition being the primary factor to nurture.
Consistency in training, nutrition, agreed lifestyle changes and positive mindset were responsible for the improvements. The client has recently completed a half marathon with much greater confidence and no negative physical outcomes. Ok, perhaps a little stiffness.
