As the Madmule 2017 season begins there is a priority to promote an attitude of "longevity" within the sessions. Continuity has also been the message. Frequency within a weekly cycle is welcome, continuity over a 6-12 month timeframe has shown its benefits.
Taking one's own body mass up a hill is neccessary. We all enjoy reaching the top of any peak. It is significant, pyschologically and physically. Emotionally rewarding for most and when trained correctly, an effective part of any conditioning process.
Preparing the body to successfully engage the incline is always presented at H.I.L.L : heart raisers, active stretches, shoulder/spine/hip/knee/ankle mobility and always springing drills and glute/ hip activations.
To get to the top of any peak is significant. Within any hill set I remain fixed on what I'm doing at the time and why I'm doing it. Purpose creates a plan creates intent creates intensity.
