9 days remain until the start of the North Downs Way 100... also known as the NDW100
Firstly, they lie like hairy eggs. It's 103 miles.
I entered because it seemed like the natural step to make after a successful 82 miler in April. In hindsight this is not a natural step.
With a 30 hour cut off it will be the longest session I have attempted. The elite are finishing in less than 17 hours. My plan is to attempt 20 and will be more than content with sub 22.
Sticking to pace. Keeping positive thoughts. 5k hard and fast can be harder.
100 miles will get me from Poole to the outskirts of south west London. I am laughing out loud.
